ARCH1202 - Experimental Art Space
Concept
This design was proposed for Experimental Art Space which will located at Coal Loader Waverton, NSW, Australia. It is adopting the idea of 'SENSORY' which is strong in the site, the design was proposed to encourage this idea. Height and light is used as the main element to give the guest different sense of feeling in every place. The journey of people will also impacting on their sensory respond, people who enter from the upper level would have different experience with people who enter the internal art space from the lower site. The external experimental art space would provide a journey for the guest when watching or observing the art works.Submission 2

Project 2 - Double House
This house propose to be built in 123 Victoria Street, Potts Point, NSW. The house is designed for an art collector who rented one of his room to a travel photographer.
The design of this house is inspired by Villa Muller which designed by Adolf Loos.
His quote
'' My architecture is not convinced in plans, but in spaces (cubes). I do not design floor plan, façades sections. i design spaces. For me, there is no ground floor, first floor, etc... For me, there are only contiguous, continual spaces, rooms, anterooms, terraces, etc. Storeys merge and spaces relate to each other. ''
inspired me to create this house.
